Customers of Verc Massachusetts Car Rental are encouraged to take advantage of the following WTI water transportation services:
- T Harbor Express Water Shuttle: In operation since 1996, the T Harbor Express Shuttle operates the most advanced ferries in the country. The Flying Cloud and Lightning boats are both handicap accessible and feature a smooth, high-speed ride across the harbour.
- Voyager III: Customers of Verc Massachusetts Car Rental can enjoy hours of whale watching fun aboard this high-speed catamaran vessel. Owned and operated by WTI in conjunction with the New England Aquarium, the Voyager III boasts ample outside viewing space as well as comfortable indoor seating. An onboard concession stand provides guests with snacks, drinks and cocktails.
- Boston Harbor Islands: Want to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon inside the Boston Harbor National Park Area? Then hop on the Island Expedition or Island Discovery high-speed catamaran for direct service. These speedy vessel transport customers of Verc Massachusetts Car Rental from Boston to Georges Island and Spectacle Island in under 30 minutes. The high-speed propulsion also makes these vessels a great choice for sunset cruises.
- The Salem Ferry: High speed ferry services are now available between Blaney Street in Salem and the Central Wharf in Boston. Trips are offered on the Friendship IV ferry, which is capable of traveling 30 knots. Each trip between Salem and Boston takes about 45 minutes. The ferry makes seven round trips per day and operates from Memorial Day through Halloween.
- Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi: The Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi makes 11 stops on the Intracoastal Highway and New River. Directions to the Quincy Terminal
A number of T Harbor Express services dock at the Quincy Terminal. To get there in your Massachusetts car rental from Route 3, simply hop exit onto Route 18 north. At the second traffic light turn left onto Route 53 North. At the second traffic light on this street, turn right onto Howard Street. Follow this street to the end. Turn right at the traffic signal towards the rotary and the entrance to the Harbor Express.
