Style and structure
When you visit with your rental car Boston, you will find that the shape of the building is in a modified Greek Cross, with four arms extending from the central tower. The Church itself is found in Copley Square, near the John Hancock Tower. On the interior, there are 21,5000 square feet of murals, all by American artists. The windows were originally clear when the church was completed and consecrated in 1877, with only one stained glass window. But soon, more windows were added, including designs by Edward Burne-Jones and John La Farge. When you visit with your Boston car rental, you will find yourself in the only church in the United States and the only building in Boston that was honoured as one of the "Ten Most Significant Buildings in the United States" by the American Institute of Architects. It is also the only building that is still on the original list created in 1885.
Come to worship
When you visit with your Boston car rental, there are four services that you can attend on Sundays, including a modified version of Morning Prayer and a sermon with an extra anthem. There are weekday services that include the Holy Eucharist and Thursday Evensong. They maintain a traditional Protestant sequence of Holy Communion as the principle service on the first Sunday of the month and Morning Prayer on subsequent Sundays. This is unusual for a contemporary Episcopal Church. If you are here in December with your car rental Boston, the choirs here have Candlelight Carols. This is a popular Boston event that draws people from all over the region to see.
Exploring Back Bay
When you are here with your car rental Boston, you will find Trinity Church in the Back Bay neighborhood. This is an upscale residential, retail, and commercial office district. Along with Beacon Hill, it is considered to be one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city, with townhouses selling for millions of dollars. Here you can also find some of the premier shopping districts of the city, including Newbury and Boylston Streets and Copley Place mall. The area is defined as the area between the Charles River to the north, Arlington Street to Park Square on the east, Columbus Avenue to New York New Haven and the Massachusetts Turnpike on the south, and Charlesgate East on the west. The area got its name because it was literally the back bay for Boston before there was extensive land filling in the 19th century. The neighborhood was created by filling the tidewater flats of the Charles River in 1857, and was completed by 1882. This was one of the largest land reclamation projects to be undertaken. The architecture of the area is well-integrated because the area was well-planned with three- and four-story residential brownstones.
