Find the campsite that's right for you

Two different campgrounds are currently in operation inside the Shawme-Crowell State Forest. Each of the campgrounds offers a number of exciting amenities, as well as its own unique geography. Campground 1 is located on to the west of the main entrance. Massachusetts car rental customers will find more than 75 campsites in this area. All of the campsites are within walking distance of a washroom and showers. Campground 1 is also located just minutes from the Camp Store and the Contact Station. Campground roads connect all of the campsites. If you're looking for a campsite that features plenty of privacy, Verc recommends reserving sites on the very western tip of the campground. Campground 2 is located east of the main entrance and features a much larger number of campsites. Once again, customers of Verc Massachusetts Car Rental will find themselves within walking distance of restrooms and showers regardless of where they reserve their campsite. A playground is also located in campground 2 along with group campsites and picnic pavilions.

Finding the forest from the trees

If you're coming from the north, take Route 3 south to the Sagamore Bridge and Route 6 east. Follow Route 6 over the bridge until you reach Route 130 in Sandwich. Follow route 130 into Sandwich - the forest entrance will appear on the left. Massachusetts car rental customers traveling from the west should take Route 495 south the intersection with Route 3 and the Sagamore Bridge rotary. Follow Route 6 east over the Sagamore Bridge. The rest of the directions are the same as when traveling form the north
