Massasoit State Park
Massasoit State Park is a park that you can visit with your Rockland 15 passenger van rental when you are in the Taunton and Lakeville area. This is a heavily wooded park that has a number of activities available, but hiking, fishing, and camping are favorites here. How to get here

Take Route 18 South to the first intersection, where there is a yellow flashing light. Turn right on Taunton Street, which will turn into Middleboro Avenue. The park entrance is on the left, about 2.5 miles from the flashing light. To get here from Boston with your passenger van rental, you need to take Route 24 South-Route 44 East. At the first traffic light, turn right on to South Street East. Follow to the end and turn left onto Middleboro Avenue. The park entrance is about two miles from here on the right.
Don’t stay inside!

South-eastern Massachusetts has many easy and moderate walking trails that you can enjoy with your whole family. Getting outdoors and hiking is a great way to get some exercise and have fun with the whole family. In Massasoit State Park, you will find the Cranberry Trail, which is a moderate trail of 3 miles. This trail begins in the park at the cranberry bog near the main parking lot and ends at Big Bear Hole Pond. The trail does have some steep hills and passes by a white cedar swamp.
Take it easy
If you are looking for something a little easier with your 15 passenger rental van in Rockland, there are also many easy trails in the area. There is the Massasoit Trail in the Freetown-Fall River State Forest. This is an easy, 3 mile trail that will take you through a red maple swamp and passes two scenic overlooks. In Borderland State Park in Massapoag, you can also try the Pond Walk, which will take you through a wooded trail, passing a stone lodge, old stone cellar remains, dam and bridge, farmhouse, and 1911 mansion.
