The museum is located in the former Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port. There are photographic exhibits that are here on a permanent basis, as well as rotating ones that are on loan from the JFK Library in Boston. There are over 80 pictures that cover the years from 1934 to 1963, arranged to reflect the different themes in Kennedy’s life. There is also a video gallery hosted by Walter Cronkite with some video footage of Kennedy’s time spent there. The museum has different hours depending on the time of the year that you visit. From mid-April through Memorial Day, they are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. From Memorial Day through the end of October, they are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. In November and December, they are open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. They are closed in January.
