The Children’s Museum in Easton is housed in an old fire station in historic North Easton with your Massachusetts car rental. It is geared towards children ages 1-8. There are three floors of interactive exhibits and over 100 programs that allow kids to explore the world around them and gain an interest in learning.

Learn and play

At the Children’s Museum in Easton you can learn and play on three floors of hands-on exhibits that promote creativity, learning, and interaction. The Wild Place is an outdoor learning center where kids can learn about insects with the Butterfly Garden and Hotel, uncover ancient footprints in the fossil pit, climb the treehouse, and make music. At the FETCH! Lab, you can build a house, create a maze, and participate in science and math activities. At the performance center, kids can put on a Broadway show starring themselves, including sound effects, wardrobe, and make up. Kids can even climb up and ring the bell, then slide down the fire pole. At Kidsclinic, kids can learn about the doctor’s office by x-raying a broken bone, take care of a newborn, bandage a patient, and more. All of these activities are geared at kids ages 1-8 and will help to create interest in these areas and make it fun for them to learn.

Plan your visit

When you plan to come to the Children’s Museum in Easton with your Massachusetts car rental, you will find it in North Easton at the Old Fire Station at 9 Sullivan Avenue. During the summer months, they are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 12-4 p.m. They are closed August 30-September 14 for the fall spruce up. During the school year, they are open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 p.m. Admission is $6 per person. To get here with your Massachusetts car rental, take exit 17B from Route 24. At the third light, turn right onto 138N. At the second light, turn left onto Main Street. After 1 mile, turn right onto Sullivan Ave.

It is the second-oldest children’s museum in the country.
