East Coast Grill & Raw Bar

If you love seafood, you can't come to Boston without visiting the East Coast Grill & Raw Bar. Established in 1985 on the principles of bold flavors, wood grilling, fresh seafood, and relentlessly friendly staff, ECG exhibits the sign of a truly great restaurant-it's the place where the locals eat. Discount car rental Boston customers will have no problem understanding why ECG won The Boston Globe's Munch Madness competition, a challenge that pitted 64 local restaurants against each other to find the public's favorite.

What's Offered at the Raw Bar?

At the raw bar, discount car rental Boston customers can find Island Creek oysters, Asian oysters, Littleneck clams, wild shrimp cocktail with fresh horseradish sauce, and Jonah crab claws served with mango mignonette. Prices range from $3 for a crab claw up to $14 for half a dozen clams.

Cooked Food

ECG knows that not every discount car rental Boston customer will be interested in raw food so they offer a wide selection of cooked seafood and chicken as well. You can feast on New Bedford scallops, spice-encrusted Mahi Mahi, creamy clam and corn chowder, Prince Edward Island mussels, ginger tuna and pork sausage dumplings (with soy ginger dressing and an orange coriander dust), or fried fish made out of the catch of the day.

Even if you don't love seafood, ECG has options for you with their crispy chicken livers, BBQ pulled-pork, spit-roasted chicken, and 16 oz. New York strip steak. And what meal would be compete without side dishes to go with your meat? You can order tidewater coleslaw, cornbread, watermelon, mashed sweet potatoes, grilled pineapple, banana-guava ketchup, fried plantains, baked beans, and much more.

To wash it all down, they offer a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including juices, soft drinks, and lemonade.

Hell Night

Discount car rental Boston customers will quickly notice that the ECG also has a sense of humor. If you want to try food so hot that smoke shoots out your ears, take a bite of their infamous Pasta From Hell, covered in their original Inner Beauty Hot Sauce. The truly brave of taste bud can sign up for their newsletter to find out the date of their next Hell Night梐n evening on which the menu is changed to serve only what they call "wicked hot" foods.
