A little history
When you travel with your Boston wheelchair van rentals to the Crowne Pointe Inn and Spa you will find that the stately mansions which is now the main house was built in the 19th century for a sea captain of the Provincetown Harbor. The grand carriage houses that stand behind the main residence, housed numerous fishermen once upon a time, were constructed shortly after. In January 1999, an elaborate restoration and full-scale renovation was launched for the five buildings that make up the Crowne Pointe with an anticipated opening for May of the same year. One of the most arduous tasks for the team of artisans and carpenters was to salvage key architectural remnants of the original buildings, then piece them back together so as to be artfully blended with new period-inspired renovation. No stone was left unturned in the detail category, from paint colors, authentic Victorian wallpapers, to garden flowers you will notice with your Boston wheelchair van rentals that everything has been carefully selected to truly represent the times.
