Massachusetts Car Rental and Boston Museum of Science
The Museum of Science in Boston is located in Science Park with your Massachusetts car rental, along the Charles River. It has over 500 interactive exhibits, live presentations, a Planetarium, IMAX theater, and much more for you to explore.
Enrich your life
The Museum of Science got its start as the Boston Society of Natural History in 1830. It was a place where men could store and display skins and other prizes that they won on their travels to Africa and Asia. Today, a number of taxidermed specimens are on display, along with many other exhibits. After World War II, the museum changed its name and location in what is today "Science Park". The Museum pays $1 a year to the state for the land. It was one of the first all-encompassing science museums in the country with a number of expansions. In 1999, the Computer Museum of Boston closed and became part of the Museum of Science.
Compute the outcome
When you visit with your Massachusetts car rental, you will have the opportunity to see what was before the Computer Museum, which was partly moved to Silicon Valley. There are two exhibits here: the Computing Revolution, which is a history of computing through hands-on exhibits, as well as Cahners Computer Place, which has educational video games and interactive AIBO ERS-7.
Put on your walking shoes
