Boston by Foot Tours
Although you'd be hard pressed to get around without your Boston car rentals, when it's time to stretch your legs and really see the sites, the best way to do it is on foot through the non-profit organization Boston by Foot. Established in 1976, Boston by Foot tours doesn't try to impress you with costumes or gimmicks. They leave that up to their guides' knowledge of the history and architecture of Boston.

Taking Your Boston Car Rentals to Your Foot Tour
Since there's no better way to begin your time in Boston, why not go straight from picking up your car to taking your tour. If you pick up your Boston car rentals at Verc Rentals' Quincy location, you're less than 25 minutes away.
From Verc Rentals, head northwest on Massachusetts 3A N/Merrymount Parkway/Southern Artery. If you're unfamiliar with the area, this should take you past Merrymount Park and the Municipal Stadium. If you pass Mt. Wollaston Cemetery instead, you've gone the wrong direction.
When the road ends, turn right at Hancock Street/Massachusetts 3A N. Merge onto I-93 N/MA-3 N via the ramp to Boston. Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive). You'll need to keep left at the fork and follow the signs for MA-28 N/Leverett Cir/N Station. Turn right at Nashua Street, then turn left at Cotting Street/Red Auerbach Way and left again at Causeway Street. Make one last right onto North Washington Street and Boston by Foot Tours will be at 77 North Washington Street.
