Remembering Massachusetts’ bravest

More than 407,000 American soldiers sacrificed their lives for our nation during World War II. Nearly 13,000 of these brave souls were from Massachusetts. Massachusetts car rental customers are invited to honor these fallen comrades as a part of their Battleship Cove vacation. Located onboard the USS Massachusetts is the official memorial to all Bay Staters killed in service during WWII. The memorial symbolizes the eternal gratitude of the Commonwealth and our nation.
