Ways to see Boston
Boston Duck Tours are a unique way to see Boston without your Boston car rental. You travel around the city on a "duck", which is a World War II-style amphibious landing vehicle. A guide, or a ConDUCKtor, will take you through the city's landmarks and give you tips and little-known facts about the city. At the end of the tour, you will splash into the Charles River for a view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines. What other tours will take you from the roads to the river without ever having to leave your seat? Tickets for the Boston Duck Tour can be purchased from three locations with your Boston car rental - inside the Museum of Science gift shop, inside the Prudential Center where the tour starts, and at the Whale Watch Booth at the New England Aquarium. Regular tours depart from the Prudential Center and the Museum of Science.
You can take a self-guided tour of the Freedom Trail with your Boston car rental and it wont cost you a thing. You can find printable guides that will guide you along the trail, or you can follow the bricks that mark the trail. You can also tour the USS Constitution, which is the oldest warship afloat in the world. Known as "Old Ironsides", you can see inside the Navy yard, exhibit hall, and the ship. You can also make the trip to Charlestown with your Boston car rental and climb the 294 steps to the top of Bunker Hill. Once you reach the top, you will find some of the best views of the Boston skyline.
