Weymouth Car Rentals and Weymouth Accommodations

Weyworth is a city in Norfolk County which was first inhabited by settlers in 1622 as an offshoot of the Plymouth settlement. According to the city legend, the settlement gained inhabitants from the arrival of the "Charity", including the ancestor of President Warren Harding. The area became part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630, and got its name in 1635. When you are staying in the area with your Weymouth car rental, you are close to many local attractions.

Super 8 Motel - The Super 8 Motel in Weymouth is located across the Westgate Shopping Center and Cinema, which makes it easy to get around the city in your Weymouth car rental. Cape Cod and Plymouth are not far from here, and the Super 8 offers breakfast, free high speed internet in the lobby, free local calls, HBO in your room, and much more.

Travel New England

Cape Cod is most popular between Memorial Day and Labor Day, but many people are starting to come just around the peak times when it is a little quieter. Cape Cod is well-known for producing products such as cranberries, shellfish such as oysters and clams, and lobster. These make excellent souvenirs to take back with you in your Weymouth car rental. The island has a temperate marine climate, which is usually a little more moderate than inland locations. It is a little cooler in the summer and a little warmer in the winter, making it a great place to visit all year long.

Plymouth Harbor is one of the oldest harbors that is still being used in the country, Famous for the landing of the Mayflower, there are many interesting historical sites around here that are related to those old days of the town. You can paddle out into the harbor on your own to get a unique perspective of the area, as well as a great view of Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. When you come with your Weymouth car rental, you can explore all of the historic sites this town has to offer, not only the harbor.

Quincy, the "City of Presidents" is a small town only a few miles from Boston with your Weymouth car rental, but in the other direction. This was where John Adams and John Quincy Adams made their home, which is still an important part of the town, including the home in which they once lived. While you are here, you will find peace and quiet, while at the same time you can travel into the city for more exciting attractions and nightlife.

The South River near Marshfield is a good place to park your Weymouth car rental and kayak. During high tide is the best, you can paddle about a mile south of Marshfield, then you may have to get out and walk a bit because the river gets very narrow. The marsh gets more expansive the further you get from the town, and the more with nature you feel. There is a lagoon down the river, which in the summer is a great place to go for a dip and cool off. Bird-watching and fishing are also popular activities here. This gives you the opportunity to see the natural side of New England.
